How Does Medical Grade laser works?
Laser energy is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair and transmitted down the hair shaft, disrupting the hair growth mechanism when it reaches the root.
The light energy is transformed to heat energy and the hair follicle is heated to a critical temperature at which point it is cauterized. In most cases 8-10 sessions are required at 6 week intervals in order to achieve desired results.Β Laser hair removalΒ is not as effective on blonde, grey or red hairs due to the lack of pigment therefore the darker the hair the better it will work!
